For the gloomy days when you NEED to get out of the house with the kiddos to keep your sanity, try one of these rainy day activities located in and near Roseville for something fun to do! ↓
#1 - Indoor Playground in Rocklin, CA (Enchanted Rocklin)
If you’re looking for a fun escape with the little ones, Enchanted Rocklin is a gem. It’s a farm-themed indoor play gym for ages 0–6, full of padded structures, slides, and mini tractor-rides.
This place is opening soon (end of 2025/beginning of 2026) and is AMAZING for letting toddlers burn off energy on rainy days, which we all know is ideal for a long nap afterwards.
The biggest bonus is you can chat with mama friends, sip a coffee, and have a bit of "me-time" while keeping an eye on the kids!
#2 - Martha Riley Library (Storytime & Kids Programs)
Next up is Roseville’s local library activities! Tuesday mornings at Martha Riley Library are baby lapsit storytime (0-2 year-olds) and Wednesday mornings are normal storytime (0-5 year olds).
My favorite day to go is Wednesday, since they also have a STEM toyroom filled with trucks, play food, legos, blocks, and more. Your kids get to play and be socialized, while you can sit and relax or chat with other mamas who are in the same stage of life.
After storytime and toys, roam around the utility museum (which has a huge garbage truck!) and check out library books if you like.
#3- Galleria Mall
If you've lived in Roseville for any length of time, you know about the Westfield Galleria Mall. The mall offers more than shopping — it has a smaller indoor kids “Play Space” area where younger children can climb and explore in a supervised setting.
On rainy days, it’s a convenient, free option. You can park, stroll through dry hallways, grab a treat, and let the kids burn off some energy in the play space.
Conclusion
I hope this post helped you plan a fun rainy day activity for you and the kids! When winter days get gloomy, there's always something fun to do in Roseville.
And if you’re anything like me, you know these cozy, cool days make for some of the sweetest memories with your little ones. I love helping local mamas capture those fleeting, love-filled moments even on rainy days—so even when the days feel long, you’ll always have the photos to remember them by.
Your Roseville mom bestie,
