A Relaxed In-Home Newborn Session in Roseville
One of the things my clients appreciate most is that they never have to leave the comfort of their own home.
There's zero rush to get out the door with a newborn or worry about packing the diaper bag perfectly. Doing a session at your home means we move at baby's pace, so there is plenty of time for mid-session feedings, diaper changes, and outfit changes.
For this session, we photographed in the primary bedroom, nursery, and living room. Each room had beautiful natural light (one big window is really all you need!).
One of my favorite moments is always ending the session with portraits of baby wrapped in a soft white swaddle. These photos allow all of the tiny newborn details to take center stage—the eyelashes, yawns, stretches, wisps of hair, and those tiny fingers and toes!

During this session, we made plenty of time for sibling and family portraits, keeping everything relaxed and playful. Young kiddos don't need to sit perfectly still to create beautiful photographs. Some of the sweetest images come from cuddles, little kisses, and games that make the poses fun for the kids.

Once we're in the session, I guide your family into natural poses that are soft and full of connection. My goal is for you to feel peaceful from beginning to end, allowing you to soak in special moments with your baby.
